Know Before You Go

Thank you for Booking with us!

Here are a few things you might like to know before your stay…

General Info

An information binder located in the house has lots of great info including tips on water conservation & what to do with your garbage and compost.

There is space to park vehicles in the driveway. There is some space along side of the road to park as well. Do not park on the lawn as below is the septic tank and field.

Check In

Check Out

About one week prior to your stay you will receive an email with the address and the four digit code for the front door keypad lock.

Please keep in mind that it is likely not the speed you are used to…everything is a little bit slower on the Island. The WIFI password is in the information binder.

If you choose not to bring your own towels and linens, both can be provided for an additional fee of $250 per week. Please let us know in advance if these items are required.

Deposit and Cancellations

The balance owing, the rental agreement and the $500 damage deposit are due on or before June 1/2018. Cancellations made 30 days in advance will receive payment back in full only if we are able to fill your reservation. If we cannot fill your dates, we will withhold 50% of your deposit for administration fees. If a cancellation is made less than 30 days to booking date, the deposit will not be returned. Please note that your damage deposit will be returned once our cleaner gives us “two thumbs up”

There are many “happenings” on Hornby in the summer. Check out for event listings and details about the farmer’s market.

We came up for a quick getaway to work on University finals in a peaceful place. I will cherish every second we had on Hornby. The fog, the rain, and warm community were medicine for the soul. We are so thankful to the welcoming warmth here at the tudor house and can’t wait to be back!
